April 4, 2012

I saw this idea on another blog and as all good bloggers, I am going to steal it. There have been may books that I have read that have shaped me in life and more importantly furthered my faith. This is not an exhaustive list and I hope that you will comment and leave your favorites (This way I can add to my reading list, not that I need too since mine is miles long at the moment).

Lastly, this is not a book, but they have had such an impact on me for so many years I would be remiss if I did not mention them; Caedmon’s Call. This band has been my constant companion for the struggles and joys of life. Their honest, real-life lyrics have sustained and fed me in the darkest of moments. Each album has had an impact and is a mile-marker for me. I can pull out any of them and have it speak to me anew; this is due the weight of the lyrics and the timelessness of the music. So I encourage you to check them out listen with an attentive ear.
There are most likely so many books I have left out; what would you add to the list and why?
